    Green Lantern 42

    Hey Guys,

    Anyone Read this Yet ?
    I just finished it lastnight...
Man,... Do I love How Johns Wrote the Power of the Orange Light of Greed,... & Larfleeze is such a Fantastic character....

    Spoliers...

When Larfleeze Called Jordan a Thief & acussed Jordan of Stealing "His Idea" of creating an Entire Corps with his Ring.... That had me seriously Laughing out loud.... That was too funny.

Looks Like Jordan might Team up with Sinestro at some point in Blackest Night too......

So am I reading this correctly then.... The Anti-Monitor's Corps,.. is the Power for the Black Lanterns , That Ash & Saarek discovered ?

    It IS time Folks.....
Have you been Following the Green Lantern Emblem and the Black Lantern Emblem in the Top right Hand corner's of Green Lantern & Green Lantern Corps' cover's ? ..... How the 2 emblems go closer,.. & closer,.. to where the Black Lantern Emblem has now Eclipsed the Green Lantern Emblem ?

    Blackest Night is HERE !
    Green Lantern #43 Guys !!!!!

Yeah I think this was pointed out in one of the Sinestro Corps one-shots or maybe it was at the end of the Sinestro Corps story itself.

I still have the feeling that Nekron is involved and is the puppet master behind Black Hand's strings....

I must over-read that or something....

Good Call! When was the last time he was seen? The last time I can recall was the controversial Captain Atom "Legion of Deaths" storyline which got Neil Gaiman irritated at the use of "his" Death as the "merciful face of Death" (or something like that).

Larfleeze is a fun character, even if he's a bit too much "Gollum" from Lord of the Rings. I thought Hal's Gonzo/Muppet comparison was worth a chuckle. The Guardians sure are little *******s aren't they?

Nice to see John getting some screentime. Hopefully this signals that they will start putting to rest some of his leftover baggage from Cosmic Odyssey.

So... Sinestro redeemed as a Blue Lantern of Hope?!

I'm not familiar with that storyline so the last time I saw him was in the original Tales of the Green Lantern Corps mini-series....which was recently collected as a trade. I'm sure that's no coincidence.

So do you think that Nekron is the entity behind the Black Lanterns in the same way that Parallax is to the Sinstro Corps power and Ion is to the Green Lantern Corps?

How do you think the Anti-Monitor's body fits into all of this?

^ Yup! As for the Anti-Monitor, I think they're just using his body for the residual energy....I don't think they'll use him for anything other than that because his story was Crisis on Infinite Earths and the whole anti-matter thing and nothing to do with reviving the dead.

And after the Sinestro Corps storyline when his body/corpse seemed to be transformed into a power battery of sorts he seemed as surprised as anyone else.... There's an off-panel voice saying "It is him. The Anti-Monitor. Rise" while the battery forms around him. AM is only able to get out a "What? No. Nn--" before he's engulfed in the battery.
