    Ironmans armor

ok as Tony runs from hidden lab to hidden lab we've taken a walk down memory lane with his armor. last he had on the classic red and yellow only to have it blown to bits. so what's next? something new? maybe the red and silver returns?

personally I'd like a suped up version of the classic. then a great fued with Osborn

Since he's on the run, the Stealth Armor should prove useful....

Should the "original" silver armor be there alongside the bulky all gold armor? I seem to recall that he simply painted the original bulky gray/silver armor a gold color.

The "horned-rimmed" armor (for lack of a better term)? I hope Fraction gets him back in the bulky gray before it's all over.

He added a "kilt" also when the gray armor became gold....

Any love for the "silver centurian"?

I have to admit a certain fondness for it because of the Armor Wars.

I also got a kick out of him taking on Steve Rogers in his identity of The Captain during this timeframe.

              I'd love that armor too.

When he fights Rhino in this armor it's one of my favorite issues

Ugggh! I think my favorite armor is the traditional classic red and gold...probably best rendered by Bob Layton....after that, everything else sucks IMO.

...but not this version. Just looks like someone didn't feel like trying to do a decent design.

How often has Tony had to pull out the Hulkbuster? My favourite storyline from back in the day was the one guest starring Ant-Man where Tony put a pacemaker or something in Bruce to control the transformation.

Is the bottom one JRjr's design? I prefer the top one. Where did that debut? I know it's been made into an action figure.

Yeah it looks like Romita Jr.'s work....I tell ya, he's no where near the designer his father is....you would think some of that talent would've rubbed off.

                        What outfits did JRsr design?

I will give JRjr props for Hobgoblin, but other than that, I can't think of too much of JRjr's designs that jump out at me. Certainly not Typhoid Mary, and the various X-Men outfits on his run were pretty blehh as well, if Mohawk Leather Storm, Big "M" Purple Magneto, and Rogues various torn up outfits are any indication.

Yup...that's my point Whereas his father, Jazzy John Romita, was the go-to guy for designs even if he wasn't the book's artist. And Hobgoblin was pretty much a recolored Green Goblin costume so that's not too hard to do.

John Sr. was responsible or at least had a strong hand in the designs of The Punisher and Wolverine.

It kinda looks like a stripped down version of MK 2 Terminator armour from Warhammer 40K.

So.... no love for the "Iron Nose?"
