So what's the deal with Superman and New Krypton?

Why did Supes leave Earth to go to this New Krypton?

What does Lois think of all of this? Is this just a plot to get them broken up so DC can pull a Marvel and have their number one guy single again?

I think the Kryptonians have been outlawed from Earth....I'm not 100% sure...I have seen Supergirl out and about though in her book so maybe I'm missing something.

She seems to be standing by her man....for the time being. Would DC let Superman get divorced? Can't kill off Lois....she's too important to the mythos. And I don't see DC going the Mephisto route....

I've dropped Action (featuring the new Nightwing and Flamebird) and Superman (featuring Mon-El and Guardian)...this is not what I signed up for in regards to buying SUPERMAN books. Greg Rucka is NOT a Superman writer IMO and James Robinson's work on said same has been very disappointing.

I was buying Superman: World of New Krypton but dumped it with issue #3...I really don't care at this point. Just like in Batman...I'll start buying again when the right guy is back. Give me Supes in his blue and red and not his Kryptonian solider uniform.

The only Superman Family title I'm currently buying (and enjoying) is Supergirl. And I'll be picking up the Johns/Franks Superman:Secret Origin when it comes out.

The Kryptonians HAVE all been outlawed on Earth.
Even Supergirl,... However SuperGirl was ordered by her Mother to find her Dad's Killer,.. so thats why she is currently on Earth,.. however with the direction of the Story,.. I believe Supergirl will become Distant from her Mom,.. & Probably be in earths good Graces again.... even more so with no Superman.

The now Trade "Brainiac" story written by Johns Drawn by Gary Frank,.. Basically summs up where New Krypton & the Kryptonians came from,.. Brainiac Stole them from Krypton,.. right before HE destroyed the Planet. Apparently THE REAL Brainiac. How it was written,.. everything you ever saw of Brainiac before this point, was not him,.. but copies & Drones...

I believe the Story a New Krypton, & every flipp'in tie in Superman book after that,.. tells how The Kryptonians distanced themselves fron earth,... & were ultimately Banned for thier actions.

I tried to follow some of it,.. But other than the Supergirl book,.. the rest , as far as making sure I picked up every single Superman book to read it straight threw became far too much of a Pain in the Arse.

So Superman rolled over and left his adopted planet because Earth banned him.

The Silver Age Superman wouldn't stand for that crap. Man, I wish HE came back in Infinite Crisis and stayed!!!

I dunno Why Superman Actually took Off....
But from all the books I had read into the story...
Superman was never Banned from Earth.
He was the only "Kryptonian" that was allowed on Earth.

I think he's keeping an eye on Alura and General Zod....that's why he's on New Krypton.

I prefer the Silver Age version when they enlarged Kandor on another planet and we NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN! Supes works best when it's just him, Supergirl, a couple of pets and the occassional escapee from the Phantom Zone as far as active Kryptonians go. Having them all exist in the same universe now and be super-powered sorta defeats the purpose of Superman... if ya know what I mean.

The New Krypton storyline is why I dropped all three Superman titles. (I still pick up Superman off the rack because I really, really like Renato Guedes, but the title's just about unreadable.)

The Kryptonians murdered some police officers in a prison break... that was one of the events that led to their leaving Earth. Superman followed because he just doesn't trust Zod and Supergirl's mother.

The whole story just sucks and it could not be over fast enough for me. This is the worst thing to happen to Superman since the red/blue stuff and the mullet.
