I dunno why they have to change the look of WWII Earth 616 Cap when we all know he has the little wings sprouting off the sides of the mask, not painted on....

You know, I kind of liked the scale-male, helmety-looking Cap at first (Kevin Maguire did it first in that "Adventures of Captain America mini), but c'mon, it's a comic book. Just draw him like Kirby and get back to basics.

His "A" even looks stenciled. Hitch should waste less time making up new costume details and concentrate more on staying on schedule.

It's gorgeous artwork though!

I like the 1st Pic ...
& To be honest,... I personally believe that is probably pretty on par to what the suit will look like in the Movie. They are not going to roll with big Flaming wings on the sides of his mask.

The Boot Design is very cool too.

That's probably why they're retro-designing the outfit....to match up with the movie costume and all of the merchandising.

& IMO,.. I think He looks pretty Damn Good too. I could see the design Transitioning well over to the Movies.
