Good oldfashioned comics!

Picked up a bunch of old Iron Man comics (150-160) for $1 a piece.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed them.
Simple plots, just a bad guy saying "Finally, I will hold the planet in the palm of my glove!" and Iron Man responding "Not if I can help it, repulsor rays ON!!!"

I think I'm going to try and get a pile more of these.
My weary brain cells consider these kind of adventures just what's needed!

Very cool.

I like the simple, classic superhero vs. villain stuff, as well. I even enjoy the cheesy dialog.

I'm always trolling the $1 boxes at my LCS....couple of weeks ago they were running 6 for $1! Can't beat that!

still love the 60's books

i keep trying to like the newer books, the stories are much more complex and deep, but i just can't get into them like the good old silver age books.......maybe i'm just old ha ha
