He can make any movie he wants as long as I don't have to see or hear him to talk. His spastic, hyper-activism drives me bonkers for some reason. I admire his films but I can't take him...

only pulp fiction has a man being raped. but both sin city and watchmen deal with the risky subject matter. either way i agree with you that "the gimp" needs to sit this one out .

My thoughts exactly. I think Tarantino and Garth Ennis are a perfect match. All you would need is to offer it to Simon Pegg after that.

I always imagined Tarantino to be the perfect director for Preacher.

            You're forgetting "Killing Zoe".

Actually, that is Roger Avery's (co-writer of Pulp Fiction) film, so I would imagine it's not necessarily Tarantino that is the common factor there. Tarantino lent his name as exec producer on Zoe as a favor to Avery post Pulp Fiction.

Imagine my surprise at hearing that voice ten years ago at a screening of the Kung Fu Classic Master Killer at one of Toronto's last surviving Porno Theatres.

I'm sitting with a friend who simply can't stop goofing on the film...
Line from MK as the titular character rings a gong with a weighted pole:
                "Is your hand tired?"
                My friends loud response:
                "One of them is!"
(keep in mind that we are all sitting in a Porno Theatre)
Which cracks up most of those sitting around us, except...

                From behind us:
"Hey Tom Servo! Cut it OUT... With the JOKES, OkaY!."

We turn around, there is Tarantino on a date with Mira Sorvino, who was in town shooting Replacement Killers at that time.
