I would really love that if it happened. Those 2 X films were great. If he did X-Men 4, there would be a lot of damage to undo with Cyclops, Jean Grey and Professor X all dead, what were they thinking?

I LOVE to see Singer return to X-Men...he gave us two great X-Men Movies! I hate Penn ,Bret Ratner, and Tom Rothman for the Crasp-fest known as X-3!

I see no fixing the Series...so Brian might as well start of with X-Men:1st class idea they've been kicking around with the ORIGINAL X-Men(Cycke, Jean, Beast, Iceman & Angel).

I am pretty sure with the various C-men timelines of the 90's Singer could lift a whole alteranate timeline story from the comics to restore order in seconds and move on.

They could go back in time, and show the X-Men Mutant Academy days. With younger actors.
A time-travelling evil mutant would go back and try to destroy the X-Men in the past.
This would enable us to change the timeline, and keep Cyclops, Jean and Prof X alive.

We could then spend whole threads discussing about whether young Cyke is better than old Cyke.

They already have the setup in Wolverine for X-Men: 1st Class or whatever they are going to call it. The only big salary would probably be Patrick Stewart's at this point (and maybe Ian Mckellan?). A good chance to start over without the baggage of X-Men 4.

They would obviously diverge from just Angel, Beast, Ice Man, Marvel Girl and Cyclops. There is already a setup for a built in love triangle between Cyclops, Emma Frost and Jean Grey.

It would be worth it just to see Famke Janssen in the Shower!

X-Men certainly is a far cry from her humble beginnings opposite Shannon Tweed and Sean Young in Model by Day.
