    Jonah Hex: The Six-Gun War

If you ain't read DC's Jonah Hex yet, I reckon now's a gooda time as any.....

The Six Gun War starts in #44 and guest stars Tallulah Black and Bat Lash as Hex takes on Quentin Turnbull and El Papagayo.

The is one of the BEST books out there right now from DC and is unmarred by the hand of Dan DiDio and his constant radical changes to continuity....RECOMMENDED READING!

So whatcher waitin' fer? Get that ugly mug a yers buried between th' pages and enjoy yerself some good ol' fashioned gunslingin'!

I just finished reading it and alls I can say is hell YA!!!
The return of El papgayo about timeeeeee!!!
One of the coolest villains of all times.I love this series it constantly amazes me.
Sometimes I think they must be fans themselves to come up with some of these stories?
It's as if they know what the little hexsters want to see...

Have you read the man with no name series?
I thought it was pretty decent.
I am really looking forward to the new GBU as well.I'm thinking they changed the name to draw more readers in!?!?!?

Jonah Hex is consistently good, probably DC's best title. The current serial is looking good- what's probably best here is that Jonah's villains don't keep coming back issue after issue (mostly because he kills them off on a regular basis). So unlike Batman and the Joker's 50 billionth escape from Arkham and murder spree, when a Hex villain returns it's still a big deal.

Two things I still want to see:
Hex on a world tour for a few issues, maybe chasing a bad guy across Europe and interacting with the local police (Hex in Scotland Yard meeting Inspector Lestrade? A French Suerate cop similar to Insp. Clouseau? Could be fun!).
And secondly, an crossover with the DC Western "superheroes" such as Johnny Thunder, Madame .44, Nighthawk, Western Kid, Rodeo Rick, etc. Foley of the Fighting Fifth. The ultra violent bounty hunter and the western movie cowboy type. What a contrast.

If you see Palmiotti at a convention, let's all put this bug in his ear.
