Does anyone remember the name of the female warrior character Chris Clearmont & Brian Bolland did for Marvel's Epic Illustrated? That female with the sword looks like a direct rip from that series.
    Hey! Check out the pictures.

Is it just my imagination or does the female warrior look like Ann Coulter?

I wouldn't say it's your imagination at all.

                    Not quite...

I don't doubt there is probably some homage in there though. It's written by Larry Hama who is not completely unfamiliar with Epic Illustrated, being a Marvel employee of that timeframe.

"Red Sara" looks like a bit of a nod to Frank Cho's Red Sonja Queen of the Frozen Wastes.

I have no doubt that this is drawn with the classic Frazetta pose in mind...

Obama isn't exactly built like a WWF wrestler. It just looked like her in the face.

That's not Ann Coulter. That looks like Gene Simmons's hot wife. She usually takes off her clothes in every film she's in; Shannon Tweed,(?).

I think the Obama comic book appearances will jump the shark with this one.

Everybody's doing it now trying to cash in. Even the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO #3 last week had Obama on the cover and in the story. And now I hear that Bo the dog will be getting his own comic?

It's over, the gravy train has crashed. On to the next comic book fad.
