    Neat fan page on Curt Swan

    I strongly feel that without Curt Swan, the Mego Superman would have looked drastically different.

    Curt Swan was my favorite Superman artist closely followed by Wayne Boring.
    I don't really think the Mego Superman has any Swan influences, though. Do you? The original Aurora model kit looked like a Swan Superman in 3-D to me.

        Yes and no. Does it look exactly like a 3-D version of a Swan Superman - No, but the thin-style of face, the ever so slightly smile on the corners of his mouth, the open eyes - I think are all from the fact that he had been drawing the figure for over a decade by that time and that must be where Mego got its inspiration from. Plus, the fact that the T1 and T2 body isn't 'roided out like some of the toys today, just makes me see the Action Comics of my youth
