    Multiple Woverine Endings *spoilers*

How many different "after the credits" epilogues were there?

The one on the leaked version had Wolverine in a bar.
The one I saw in the theatre had deadpool

Anyone else ridiculously happy to see Patrick Stewart's cameo as Charles Xavier?

Also... which "Easter Egg" mutants did you spot on the Island prison? Toad. Quicksilver. One kid had a clamp over his mouth... Banshee?

    many spoilers...read at own risk.....

our ending..after the credits...was deadpool coming back to life and reaching for his head...and shhh'ing....and loved prof x being in it..but he looked a bit odd, cuz they tried to de-age him and it looked weird...maybe that was just me? and one more thing....logan left his leather jacket in gambits plane, right? and now he doesnt remember anything....so when/how did he get it back, cuz he wears it in the other flicks? and did you catch that the folks whos barn/house it was, were the hudsons? heather and travis(not james...which it should have been..but maybe since logans name was james, it was too confusing?).....ok..so no one read this if they dont want it spoiled...

Also in regards to the Team X members... I know Agent Zero is Maverick...

        from Jim Lee's X-Men.

        Who is John Wraith?
        Who is Dominic Monaghan's character?

I noticed in the credits there was "8 year old Ororo"... was she in the prison scene?

John Wraith is Wraith...from around the same time Maverick and Omega Red were introduced.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I thought Monaghan was playing Beak, from Morrison's stint on The New X-Men

In which title? He definitely wasn't in the Jim Lee issues that introduced Maverick and Omega Red. There was a guy named Mastodon somewhere in there as well.

Monaghan is definitely not Beak... he's a character named "Bolt" who can control energy in machines... turning things on and off essentially. So who is Bolt?

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Mistakes! (for people who are getting their spyware alarms going bonkers when going to that site. Mine didn't.)

Anachronisms: In the first scene of the movie, it reads "North-West Territories, Canada, 1845". Canada was not established as a nation until 1867, and the Northwest Territories entered the Confederation as a Canadian territory in 1870. A more accurate description would have been "North-Western Territory, British North America".

Errors in geography: At some point a car drives over a one lane bridge (before the Wolverine goes to the paddock). After the bridge an arrow pointing forward is on the left hand side of the road, revealing its filming locations of Australia and New Zealand.

Continuity: Wolverine takes his distinctive leather jacket off in Gambit's plane before jumping out. But at the end of the movie they are seen splitting up without Wolverine having been given his jacket back.

Continuity: In the village scene when Wolverine holds Sabretooth's hand to stop him from killing the man, you can clearly see that in some scenes Wolverine's claws are drawn out, while in other scenes it isn't.

Boy, this **** gets even better....
Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: After the operation that Logan undergoes it's shown that he is dead. However, in the X-ray you can clearly see his throat moving.

Plot holes: SPOILER: In the finale, the mutants who will become the first generation of students for Xavier's School are freed by Wolverine. One might expect that the students to mention the grizzled, hairy rescuer with long metal claws in his hands, or that their psychic mentor might pick up on it. Cyclops is the only exception, as he was blind throughout that sequence. Yet when Wolverine reaches Xavier's School in the first X-Men movie, he is a complete mystery to everybody.

Factual errors: SPOILER: Logan's girlfriend is supposedly killed by Sabretooth, however she later claims that she was given a dose of hydrochlorothiazide, which somehow made her momentarily 'dead'. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, meaning it reduces fluid volume in the body by increasing the urinary output. This would not cause the desired effect at normal doses, and very high doses would either kill her or result in severe acute or permanent brain or kidney damage.

Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: When Logan's girlfriend is killed the second time around, you can clearly see her carotid artery still pulsing in her neck.

Continuity: SPOILER: After John Wraith has been killed by Victor Creed, he can be seen lying on the ground with his shirt clean and unripped, when Victor has clearly stated he could "feel his spine".

Check 90s issues of Wolverine...he's in there somewhere.

Monaghan is definitely not Beak... he's a character named "Bolt" who can control energy in machines... turning things on and off essentially. So who is Bolt?
Sounds like someone created for the film then...the only "Bolt" I know is Black Bolt of the Inhumans.

Man, some people really just want to hate-on this movie. I don't know why, but they do. Every movie has gaffs like those listed above. I did notice the jacket thing. As for the kids who went off with Xavier not mentioning Logan, most of them weren't there when he showed up in X1. Scott couldn't see him. And any description they gave Charles was probably quite vague. Charles always seemed to know more about Logan than he let on, so you could take it that he knew exactly who he was when he showed up at the school years later.

I was totally jazzed by Stewart's cameo as Xavier. They did the same de-aging thing to him that they did at the beginning of X3. It's a bit jarring, but somewhat necessary. It was still a cool geek-out moment.

My ending was the Deadpool head thing as mentioned above. Creepy.

I had the same thoughts as Earth 2 Chris regarding the "Plot Holes". Xavier in movies and the comics has always played certain things close to the vest and on a "need to know" basis. He was the one who pointed Wolverine up to the Weapon X facility in X1 wasn't he?

Was the Wolverine in a bar thing some kind of Madripoor reference?

So it looks like there were setting up a half dozen potential spinoffs here... which ones would you like to see made?

                    Deadpool.
                    Sabretooth.
                    Gambit.
                    Young X-Men.

The Adventures of Blob and his Slurpee?

i did a search of wikipedia....bolt was a "student" of mavericks at some point and actually became him for some time....in the comic, he was dying from the legacy virus and kinda disappeared into the background....
wraith is a newer character from wolverine/team x.....

Saw it... liked it... and I was never a big X-Men fan.

                        Just a good popcorn flick.

Wraith has been around since 1991 (Wolverine #48)...so he's really not new. In fact, he's been around longer than Maverick (who debuted in '92) by a few months.
