    Best super hero cartoon?

people not liking the Ironman cartoon makes me wonder what's the best? I have a feeling it'll be justice League. for me though it'd be the 60's Batman my avatar is from, a cartoon that showed people getting hit..it was great. but can't forget about Super Friends though

Going within recent history, I say Justice League Unlimited. I love the use of oddball heroes like Crimson Avenger and B'Wana Beast. Couple really great episodes like the Warlord one and the Western heroes.

Liking Brave & the Bold too for the same reasons.

Classic all-time I go with the Superman/Batman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure.

JLU. It was the culmination of the great BTAS, STAS and Batman Beyond. By that point it was pitch-perfect. With stories and characterization made for adults, but still enjoyable by children.

Agreed ,.. It to me, Made cartoon's cool again,.. I remember for a Period of Time there,.. it seemed as if every New Cartoon was just Worthless...
BTAS Set the foundation for Superman, & then Justice League & Ultimately Justice Leauge Unlimmited. Timm is King of Toons for me.

I think with Timm,.. the Coolness of SuperHero's came back in Toons,.. with Better Stories, Animation, & No Cheese. It's very hard for me to even watch a Toon from the 70's/ 80's or even eairler anymore... I can't hang with the Cheese.

hmm Id say the OLD original superman cartoons, batman the animated series, and the new ultimate avengers movies. Heck even Hulk v.s. and Gotham Knight arent too shabby

                      Hmmmm....

I think for overall best I'd hafta go with "Batman TAS" too. JLU isn't bad; but TAS had a much more varied repitoire of stories and ideas. "CyberSix" was pretty good too. My favourite is still "SWATkats" though.

The original Spider-Man and X-men the animated series from the 90s. The art wasn't exaggerated or the characters costumes were not altered to "please the times" like you see in so many modern comic book to television cartoons.

The story lines were taken from actual comic stories and chopped and altered to fit half hour shows. That is what characters from comic books should be done when making cartoon television shows. Don't ****ing change them. Either you use them like they are or invent a new character to **** with.

                        My two cents.

I'd have to say the '67 Spider-man, too. Mostly because it would play every morning in syndication at 7 am before I would go to school. If we are not talking superhero and just comic book character, then the 80's Filmation Flash Gordon, 1st season would be my pick.
                              It's all good!
