    Which Marvel/DC crossover was best?

I'd say the X-men/ Titans one worked best, the Batman/Hulk one was good too.
Looking for Infinite Heroes Robin and Catwoman
    And Super Powers Batman

The original can't be beat in my book...Superman vs. Amazing Spider-Man. 2nd and 3rd choices would probably be the Batman/Hulk and the X-Men/Titans mentioned.

I've always thought that the 2nd Supes/Spidey was sub-par to the original...Dr. Doom isn't really a Spidey villain and the Parasite is a little lame as far as Supes foes go. If I had my choice I'd have preferred the Green Goblin and Brainiac somehow teaming up. Plus I felt that the addition of Wonder Woman and the Hulk as guest-stars further showed how poor the whole thing was....Spidey and Supes should've been able to carry the book all by their selves.

For the modern team-ups, I'd have to say without a doubt that the JLA/Avengers is a classic. Everything about it is perfect....there's a wealth of history and reference throughout the entire series and Perez really went to town with the artwork.

Some other modern ones that stick in my head are Green Lantern/Silver Surfer, Darkseid/Galactus, Spider-Man/Batman...

That Spider-Man/Batman one I bring up all the time on here (DISORDERED MINDS) and it'll go down in history as one of my favorite comics ever.
(not that I'm a HUGE comic guy)

I wonder if the team who worked on THAT one did the SS/GL one or any
      other ones?

The Byrne Cap/Batman one, Darkseid/Galactus, JLA/Avengers, and XMen/Titans. Wish we would have gotten the X-Titans sequel that Wolfman and Perez were planning with the Hellfire Club and Brother Blood.

I guess I'm going to have to pick up that JLA/Avengers book now that everyone is raving about it. I always liked X-Men/Titans, but usually can't stomach crossovers. I love Perez artwork and I had some book put out in 1984 or so that spotlighted his stuff and it had some early pages from the book. He probably reworked the whole thing.

Yeah Scott EVERYTHING from the original JLA/Avengers was scrapped and Perez did new artwork for the whole series....hurt his hand too while doing it.

I remember that....the 1st cross-over was done by the Marvel team of Claremont and Simonson (odd choice at the time I thought). It would have been nice to see the DC version.

Around the same time there were rumours of a Titans/Legion cross-over but that never got off the ground either.

Yes but that was modern Titans and modern Legion...I'm taking about the Wolfman/Perez era of New Teen Titans and the Levitz/Giffen era of the Legion.
                        That idea never materialized....

The original Superman/Spiderman is the classic. The FF/Superman oversize treasury book was ok, but not many people remember it exists.
