Yep, that's the one I got. I love Schomburg's art, I'd really like to get some more comics with his covers. I have no idea what that stuff goes for these days though. I got my issue of All Select over 20 years ago in a trade for pretty cheap (mostly due to the chunk missing out of the cover). I also use to have a really cool Schomburg Human Torch poster (Marvel issued a set of them back in the late 1980's), it's gone now, but I should see if I can track these down.

Is this one of the ones you're talking about? They're copies of original Schomburg paintings that went for big $$$$. I picked up a set of these a long time ago. There are 3 in the set, An All Select, Captain America and the Human Torch.

Yep, that's one of them. I had the one with the Human Torch and Toro fighting on a Japanese plane. I remember having it hanging up in my bedroom at my parents' house for several years but I must have lost it during the numerous moves I've made since then. I always wanted that Cap one too. Do those turn up on ebay now and then? Guess I should get looking.

I no longer have them (sold them 15 years ago, sniff)...but they were Superman #2 (1939) and Detective Comics #38 (1940).

Here's a link to the Torch one. This seller has all three (Human Torch and Toro, All Winners and Captain America)but they don't go cheap! I think I paid around $40 a piece for mine 10 years ago.

Yeah, that's the one I had, it brings back memories. Damn, $70!!! I can't see myself paying that for a poster. I remember seeing all three in the comic store where my cousin worked at for about $5.00 each. Now I wish I bought all three, plus extras to keep unopened.

I think it's Justice League #21. I used to have some nice runs of things but not really much of a comic guy anymore..

The oldest one I got? I am not as old as some of you and so I did a test the other day and this is the oldest one I have

The original Iron Man series #8

It features some jack off villian with sawblades on his wrists. Never heard of the guy or saw him again.

It isn't worth ****. My uncle gave it to me in 1983 not really thinking it was worth ****. It is in good condition. I really doubt anyone would give me anything for it. So I just have it wrapped up in plastic and a board with the other Ironman books that are not worth ****.

If someone makes me a decent offer they can have it.

Not sure of the years and I don't want to dig them out, but ...

I have some pre-television Lone Ranger comics. A dozen or so Captain Marvel adventures. A couple Captain Marvel Jr, and a couple WWII era WHIZ Comics.
                      Hey! Check out the pictures.
