How did Bart/Kid Flash come back?

Did they explain how Bart Allen/Kid Flash come back? Was it in the pages of Teen Titans?

From Flash Rebirth, it appears as if this is some kind of time-paradox? Bart came from the Future, from a point just after they ran Superboy Prime into the Speed Force, but before he originally came back grown up ready to take the Flash mantle?

Or is there a simpler explanation that doesn't make my head explode when trying to figure the multiple convoluted time travel thing that Bart has going on since his introduction.

A couple of days ago there was a review of Flash Rebirth @ CBR. During the review it was stated that Bart's return is part of Final Crisis, Legion of Three Worlds. It's going to be a few months before that story is finally released.

Thanks Aquatroy. I'll have to catch up on FC Legion then since I was Waiting For the Trade.

It makes sense when they talk about Bart's Return from the Future in that context. I guess that means that it was probably Bart's essence that was captured by the Lightning Rod in the "Lightning Saga" that was running through JLA a while back. Still doesn't make Bart any less convoluted!

Bart has already appeared at the end of "Legion of 3 Worlds" #3....and it was indeed him who was trapped in Brainiac 5's lightning rod since the end of the Lightning Saga. Seems as though Superboy-Prime has a little Bart Allen phobia....

I find it mildly amusing that Rebirth came out before Legion of Three Worlds. Nice time paradox in and of itself!
