....and I thought it was okay. Kinda low impact but entertaining. The fight scenes were neat, and it stayed pretty close to the idea of the character; although they did what a lot of superhero films do and squished thirty years of continuity into one film. (The gold armour is there.... don't blink.... and I thought it was kinda funny how they managed to sneak the original cartoon theme in.) He did seem to kill a whole lot of bad guys though; although it was in that 70's comic "he's only hurt real bad even though he was hit by a rocket" kinda way.
The armour itself reminded me a LOT of the Knight Sabers hardsuits from BubbleGum Crisis. Same with the Iron Monger, which was a lot like a BGC MotoSlave.
The effects were good too; especially since most scenes weren't inappropriately busy, like a lot of films.
