Blackest Night # 0 } Free on Comicbook Day !

My local guy doesn't participate in Free Comic Book Day, so I gotta go 50 miles to get mine. There they allow you three of your choice, but I usually have my daughter with me, so that's six...then we go out to their other store and get the rest we want. Usually they still have them available anyway so you can pick up anything you miss later- they still have some of last years available.
But the trip is all good, as they run some great sales on back issues, so I load up on everything I can't or won't pay full cover for. Gets me caught up on a lot of books, especially the big event stuff crossovers and such, plus the odd indy stuff.

Dumb question: Is this the only way to get #0? or is this just one of those issues that DC reprints for Free Comic Day?

I think this is all-new material created just for the issue. I'm assuming it'll be collected with everything else once a "Blackest Night" trade is available.

Hooray! Saturday is Free Comic Book Day guys! Don't forget!

I have never been to a "Free Comic Book Day", but I want that Blackest Night #0. That means I am hauling out of bed Saturday and driving to the Comic Book Shop I go to....when I pick up comics. They don't kick off until 9 am and I have absolutely no idea how early I should get there in order to get in line to snag one.

On the non-conundrum side of things, they have all kinds of deals going on, including 50% off of all back issues from 4 am to 5 am Sunday. I figure I'll take them some donuts and snag the Marvel Team-Ups I need to finish out my collection of that title.
