Yeah I'm a huge fan.Collected them all.Nice read most of them.
There is a new series coming out soon I just got my comics guy to add it to my monthlies.I hope it is better than the last 12 issue crapfest they put out a couple of years ago.

This looks good. Was just reading a pile of Warlord back issues I bought over the holidays. Grell had a vision for the book, it only meandered after he left.
Have you ever seen the JLU episode with warlord? Very close to the original characters.

I was a huge fan for the orginal and of the remco figures, but I thought the mini series they did a couple of years ago sucked, personally i think it was the artwork that does me in on a lot of modern comics.

That wasn't a mini-series. It just sucked so bad it got canceled. I hated it.
It was supposed to be a reboot. I also agree the art plain SUCKED!
This new one should keep old continuity intact since Grell is doing it (I hope!)
I have the whole series and read it a couple years ago. They did leave some hanging plot threads but I didn't get the mini series they did in the 90's so some things may have been tied up in that?

Yeah I dropped the Bruce Jones/Bart Sears fiasco after the first issue....glad to hear Grell's back, if only on the writing. Maybe eventually he'll pick up the pencil again and thrill us with an issue or two. He is doing the covers though, right?

Yeah I dropped the Bruce Jones/Bart Sears fiasco after the first issue....

I think I actually bought 3 before I gave up.
It wasn't Warlord to me and I couldn't stand the muddy art.

I felt the same way about that mini a couple years back but being a completest I had to have it...

The funny thing is out of nowhere I think it was issue number ten out they had an awesome Warlord story that was just like the old stuff???
It was very cool and then they got canned...

I am looking forward to this new series but if I get burned again I'm dumping my whole warlord collection.
