    Hmmmm....

I think what this show needs is more Angel O'Day and Sam Simeon.

Had me a thought. I wanna see Snapper Carr. The annoying finger snapping version, not the TV reporter version.

While I'm actually happy they're not drudging up all the typical bat villains, I would honestly like to see their take on the Riddler. I'm thinking he'd look a lot like the golden age version.

My pulse actually spiked and my kids noticed me jerk forward on the couch when we watched that one ep where the Sportsman was the villain in the teaser -- I was *so* sure the guest for that segment was going to be the Golden Age Green Lantern! And it was such a letdown when he wasn't . . .

Okay I love this show. I am completely fine with telling people I watch cartoons on Saturday mornings again.
It was like that when I got here.

I liked the opening bit tonight more than I liked the main section.

Saw a commercial for next weeks' episode. Jay Garrick is in the teaser! Finally, he makes it into other media!!!

This week's ep was okay, but I was kind of disappointed that they made Adam Strange an overbearing loudmouth too. I know they did it to flesh Aquaman out a bit, but Adam Strange always seemed like the quiet resolve type to me. Some of his dialog was just plain corny, even for this show so far. The solution for moving our moon to Rann was pretty out there too. Why not just Zeta-beam the doomsday device to the dark side of the planet? Even in an old-fashioned silver age story like this, some mention of the catastrophic effects of the loss of our moon would at least be mentioned. I'm over-thinking all of this, but this was probably one of my least favorite episodes yet. I did dig the Queen Flash Gordon riffs on Rann though. Nice touch!

Liked seeing the Question, but I missed Jeffery Comb's voice. The B&B design looking a lot like the JLU one only made me think of him more.

I loved those Queen riffs as well. Didn't mind the episode or Adam Strange being a bit of blow hard, I mean the men of Raan are supposed to be wimps.

The Question was kind of disappointing, I thought they'd go classic ditko with the character but yeah, he looked exactly like the JLU version.

As for the science, yeah, they could have used any moon. Why not Titan?

I suspect Tucker did both character designs and was a fan of the 80's dc comic version since that is the question he has used

Now this week's episode was more like it! One of the best yet, and Jay Garrick FINALLY made it into another medium!!! The Streak from the Justice Guild doesn't count! I wonder what Mike Mignola thought of this one if he saw it?

I can't help but think that season 2 was supposed to be held back until the fall. This one was definitely a Halloween episode throughout.

You know how long I have waited to see the original JSA guys on a cartoon? This is awesome. No fake JSA people either. It appears to be Jay Garrick! This opens the door for more to come. As corny as Batman looks on this show, I check it out from time to time because I get the chance to see some of my favorites get animated.

Loved tonight's episode.....everything was great. Jay Garrick, The Scarecrow, Scream Queen (?! A Silver Banshee knock-off?)....Sherlock Freakin' Holmes! The Demon! They put so much into these episodes, it's great. Even a nod to Gotham by Gaslight. The Halloween theme reminded me of the old days when the Phantom Stranger would pop up in JLA or Brave and the Bold. Nice to see some back story as to why exactly the Gentleman Ghost is as much as Batman foe as he is a Hawkman foe.

For a minute I thought Scarecrow was talking about Superman not Jay. Just so use to people calling Supes the Boy Scout.
