All-New Superfriends Hour Season One, Volume 2

I didn't even know it was out, but it is. http://www.amazon.com/All-New-Superf...4808607&sr=8-1 I'm going to see if any of the brick and mortor stores have it before getting it off Amazon. Corny as it is I love this show. My last two weekened getaways I brought the previous volume with me along with my portable DVD player and watched some when I woke up Saturday morning. Talk about a trip in time!

My kids wore out volume 1 and it was a real trip for me as well, I hadn't see a lot of those episodes since the 70s.

Yeah, the Super Friends and Saturday mornings really went hand in hand for years. Seeing episodes now early on a Saturday morning is really an outstanding trip back.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm into the Wendy and Marvin version. Mego73 (Mike) was nice enough to put it on VHS for me, and yeah, I love to watch these on Saturday mornings.

Yeah, I do like when Wendy and Marvin were on the SUper Friends, as well. In fact, those may be some of my favorite episodes.

Did they ever release the Wendy and Marvin ones on DVD? I'm gathering that they hadn't from the posts and that would explain my futile attempts to find it a few years ago.
              It's all good!

I Liked Marvin and Wendy as well. I even had a Superfriends Bed sheet set with them on it. I can remember the day my Mom got rid of them because they got to old and used. I was so Bummed

WalMart is carrying it, so you should be able to get it no problem.

One of my best friends and I grew up with the SuperFriends on Saturday morning, and later on when the show was syndicated weekday afternoons in the early 80's. What I love about this series in particular, was that this was where I got my start. I have a subconscious memory of seeing the Wendy and Marvin series the year before, but all I remembered was Superman and Aquaman on that show, at that time.
My first exposures to Wendy and Marvin and Wonder Dog (Ugh!) was the one and only coloring book ever made of the SuperFriends. And it wasn't until weekday afternoons I officially saw and became familiar with the original series.
But it's the All New SuperFriends Hour that got me started at the age of 6. It was this series where I discovered Batman and Robin were part of the show. I waited until Saturday mornings to watch the DVD sets, just to turn back the clock. And what I love about this series on DVD is seeing every episode uncut along with the little PSA segments and DeCoder puzzles, all intact, and some of which have never been seen since their original run in 1977. We even get to see the "next week's episodes" trailers indicating the true chronological order of the series since the episodes are not in correct order. This DVD is awesome and whether you like or hate the Wonder Twins, the extra feature not only talks about Zan and Jayna, but it ridicules them as well. I found my set at WalMart and chances are, you might find them at Best Buy.
                    Cheers.

No luck last night at FYE or Best Buy. Then today, I took a gamble and went to Target at lunch. After some searching and thinking "I just wasted most of my lunch hour", I got the last copy they had. For less than what Amazon is listing for too! I'll probably watch the special feature and save the rest for vacations as I've been doing. As far the remaining sets they seem top be releasing one per year, so I would expect the rest to be put out over the next few years.

I liked when they got Adam West to do the voice of Batman and the voice actor that had done batman was doing Firestorm's Professor counterpart.

Not yet, I would want to see it because if I remember right that did an episode with Green Arrow and one with Plastic Man thou Superman called him PM.
