I was a huge GI Joe fan back in the day. I hadn't thought too much about the movie but this trailer's sold me.

Think about it two of the 80's Iconic Cartoons Transformers and Gi joe on the big screen this summer........Oh Hell yes!!!

BTW: I saw some leaked bio-cards on a GI JOE site (that Hasbro had quickly pulled) and they were pretty cringe worthy. I have a feeling that the movie is going to suck on an epic scale.

It's odd that you say that, I was just thinking the GI JOE movie was giving off a distinct Street Fight the Movie vibe. I honestly nearly put that in my previous post. I have a feeling it's going to suck on that epic of a level.

That reminds me, I actually had the Street Fighter the movie video game for the Sega Saturn. Needless to say it is the worst Street Fighter game ever made and most SF fans dare not even speak its name.

Hmmmm....

I dunno; you'd think something like GI Joe would be pretty easy to port over to film: "team of tough guys fight villains and blow stuff up." Simple. But the movie's added geneticly enhanced soldiers, Japanese cartoon style power suits, and who knows what else. It's like a film based on the 90's GI Joe. With the aliens. And day-glo ninjas.

"But... The Matrix was KEWEL!!! Let's do it like that!" What're the odds Snake Eyes does a pan-and-scan dodge of machinegun fire?

Well,.. I would think that was Bad Arse,.. & I love the Matrix,.. & all that slow MO crap after that. I think it's Fantastic,.. it's almost like reading a Comicbook.
