The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z Hardcovers

Can any one tell me if these hardcovers have the same info in them as the first 12 issues with the new updates and some of the old Marvel Universe indexes thrown in. The descriptions for the Hardcovers say there is updates and expansions. Aren't these the same as the older ones just grouped together in a hardcover? Or is there new info in them. Any help would be great on this matter.

Any body have a clue about this? If I don't have to buy the new hardcover that would be great but if I do I want to buy them before they go up in price.

I looked at one at Books a Million, and it looked different than the original 80's title. not sure if its a reprint of something more recent or if its new.

The one I picked up seems to be a year old. The info is off by about a year.
