I remember watching it but don't really remember anything about it other than Gilligan..er..Maynard...er...Dusty...er...Bob Denver was the star with a different fat guy that wasn't Alan Hale.

The whole idea is these two workers for NASA are loading stuff in a space ship and they sit down to take a break and the skipper ah fat guy says something about lunch and Gilligan hit the launch button sending them off to space, I loved the show as a kid back in the day and i have to admit i got a kick out of watching the DVD today just wish the quailty of the viedo was better
Oh yeah! I do have some eps on tape. 2 years ago, I got to meet Chuck McCann (Barney). A friend of mine arranged for us to have lunch w/ him! Here's a photo of us along w/ a memory I posted on another site:

You know, I wonder if they tried to get Alan Hale to do that show with him? I wonder if it would've lasted longer or been remembered more if that had been the case?

I was on my knees. This was taken at the restaurant where we were having lunch, and I knelt down by the chair Chuck was sitting in at our table.

I only saw a few episodes - but what I saw was funny. I'm a Gilligan's Island fan. This seemed to be a lot of the same schtick. I guess that's what sucks about type-casting.
