Hmmm, I think I like "The Purr-Fect Crime/Better Next Time" the best. I like the way Catwoman toys w/ the Dynamic Duo.

My favorite Penguin episode is "Hizzoner the Penguin" in which he runs for mayor.

It's been awhile, but my favorites have always been the Frank Gorshin Riddler episodes, especially the one where he's filming the silent movie.
They're all classic in their own way.Shameless self-promotion -

The Green Hornet & Kato episodes are certainly up there - but the best for me is the series premiere with the Riddler and Jill St. John masquerading as Robin (even as a kid I never could figure out how Batman didn't notice Robin's more curvaceous look!)Comment

The Zodiac Crimes three parter with Joker and Pengy. Death in Slow Motion and Ring of Wax with the Riddler. And any of the King Tut, Catwoman and Egghead ones. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Totally agreed! The premiere story was the BEST, followed by the Hornet episode (just wish they had a better villain than 'Col Gumm'..) and all Julie Newmar episodes..
Prrrrr.Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

I like the idea of the Hornet episode, but the death trap with the stamp machine was even too out there for that show.
Gotta agree the first 2-parter was the show at it's best. There are some downright old-school Batman moments in that one, where they crash through the window, etc. Of course, Batman also does the Bat-tusi and utters "What a way to go-go." But it was a good mix of straight adventure and parody, which was what the show was supposed to be.
Besides that one, I've always liked the Joker episodes that "The Joker's Utility Belt" and the one where he rigs the vending machines to commit crimes. Love the undercover Dick Grayson bit in that one.

Surf's UpJoker's under
But seriously
I love the original Riddler episode Hi diddle riddle / smak in the middle (and frank in the green suit with the pistol is so menacing not the cheerful guy we knew later)
and the minstrel episodes
The Minstrel's Shakedown & Barbecued Batman?
for pure corniness and the fact the tune Van sings as he cooks them has stuck in my head for 30 yearsComment
