    Dial "B" For Blog Ending Soon

    Supposedly there are only two more issues left to go before Dial "B" For Blog ends once again..."Robby Reed" is currently playing catch-up at #486 (having already released #489-500 as part of the Gaspar Saladino/Treasure Keeper article.

    Is it just me or does it seem like he's just winging it this time around? I used to enjoy his little exposes before but lately the've been pretty much fluff and much ado about nothing. Just my opinion...

    Maybe it'll come back with renewed purpose once again at a later date

      I too enjoy Dial B and I hate to see it go away...of course, it went away before and came back.

      Robby did the Dial 'B' for Burbank site for awhile between , based on the Shadow. I think that has been deleted from the web now as well.

      There was a big to-do about 3 months ago between Robby & Harlan Ellison over Dial B posting some pages from an old Warren comic by Ellison & Neal Adams and it ended up being deleted from the site after Ellison objected. There was quite a bit of back & forth on the message board, mostly from Ellison's fans.

      After that, the Blogs got a lot more fluffier it seemed.

      Robby puts a lot of work into those pages, I dunno if I could keep after that with such enthusiasm after 500 "issues". It's great stuff though!

              Yeah I think that whole fiasco tainted "Dial B" since then....I also notice the blog about the Lost In Space Robot vs. Robby the Robot (479- Lost in Space: War of the Robots) has been replaced by one about J'onn J'onzz' younger brother. I wonder if a similar situation to the Ellison one happened there as well....

                  I was pretty much glued to the first run of this blog but something turned me off the second run, I can't remember what. I admire his output though, it makes me dizzy, I could never do that kind of volume.

                      I think they said something about YouTube yanking the LOS link he had on the Blog, which kind of ruined the whole setup he had created around it.

                      I guess I would be disheartened toward doing it if I got clobbered like that two in a row.
