Who else has returned from comics obscurity

Atlas, who first appeared in First Issue Special,

    resurfaced in Action Comics

and Codename: Assassin (also from FIS)

appeared in the new Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen Special

and I've seen new images of Superwoman

    in the New Krypton storyline.

Anyone else spot returnees from comic book limbo? Who'll be next Lady Cop? The Green Team?

James Robinson has been raiding the back issue bins for "1st Issue Special" for quite awhile...so ya never know.

The Creature Commandos and Utraa the Multi Alien showed briefly in the Brainiac storyline. Grant Morrison revived the Club of Heroes last year.

Atlas showed up in the background of Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins Flash run a few years back, apparently as a villain at a gathering of rogues.

Could be DC is checking which characters they are about to lose the rights to and are suggesting writers use them.

But yeah, Robinson is a master of raiding for the obscure. Just look at Starman. He built a major part of the book out of a one-off First Issue Special, and an odd Batman tale from the 50s!

^ Robinson's "Starman" is probably my favorite run EVER! I wish he'd return to Opal City...

I hadn't picked up this storyline but did see that the Creature Commandos were in there, missed the Ultraa appearance tho. Not familiar with Club of Heroes, gotta look them up.
