Seems like the status quo has finally been changed in the Spider-Man newspaper strip to jive with the one in the comic books....Peter Parker is no longer married to Mary Jane and is a single college age guy living with his sick aunt...

I wonder how Stan feels about this...really. He has always defended the marriage. Possibly goes to show that even Stan the Man doesn't have any clout at Marvel anymore.
I'm just waiting for DC to break up Supes and Lois in similar fashion.
The beauty of the Brand New Day crap is that sales have dipped dramatically on the Spider-Books. Glad to hear that people are finally speaking with their wallets.

Q: Where do I find The Amazing Spider-Man strip online? I tried the King Features site, but there were only two strips from December 2007.
Does Stan Lee even work for Marvel anymore? I thought that they pretty much cut him loose. They may use his name on stuff, but I don't think he's still part of Marvel - especially with all the stuff he's been doing on his own...
Apparently the strip DIDN'T follow Marvel's lead, entirely.
The current non-married Peter story is a flashback to his single days. Who know if the strip will stay in that mode or not, but it's not Mephisto-influenced.
I absolutely hate "re-imagining" a story.
Without history, we are nothing.
Keep it the way it is, and take it from there. They chose the easy way.
