Heath Ledger's JOKER resembles EDDIE VAN HALEN's voice tone

You know---people have brought up examples of where Ledger either
consciously, sub-consciously or otherwise resembled "real life" people
in the vocal performance he created for THE JOKER.

I never really cared that much until someone pointed
out the simmilarity to Eddie Van Halen's voice...for me it's eerily simillar
so that it cracks me up.

EDITED TO ADD LEDGER CLIP TO THE ED CLIP

    Any comments?

Anybody to add to the list of "Ledger Joker" sound-a-likes that I forgot?

      Old? Compared to what?

In that vid? It's kinda blurry to begin with....but it's very recent (late 2008)
and I think he looks relatively well-perserved for being 53 years old.

Anyways, I think Ed looks relatively young compared to many of the
photo shots I've seen of him from the EARLY 2000s---

REFERENCE PIC ADDED from about 5 years ago---yikes:

But then again Mike you aren't seeing pics of Eddie every few months
year after year like I am, so I'll grant ya that.

And, yes, he DOES look like Mellencamp in that vid I posted fo' sho'.

I think that's how I found the pic so fast!

(by googling "Eddie Van Halen" and "Crypt Keeper")

Seriously, though...I wish I had that kinda Hollywod money to go from looking
like that to how he did a few years later in the youtube vid I posted!

Smoke twenty backs a day since the mid-70s and you too can have that voice.

                  Bump...for an opinion.

                  Anyone? Bueller?

I added a DARK KNIGHT clip so youse could compare the two.

Is it an unwritten rule that comicbook movie fans shouldn't comment on stuff
                        like this?

Or is the thread a bust because it's not that interesting of a revelation
even if you do agree they sound the same.

I found the simillar speech tones uncanny.
