    Can Anyone Explain This Panel?

I was surfing through the Facebook group about the worst comics ever. There's some wonderfully bad stuff there. However, they are not always explained. Like this one-

Does anyone know the context of this scene?

Context would only ruin it, Bill.

Well, I can tell you it looks to be the work of Curt Swan and George Klein, which probably means it was from an issue of World's Finest. By Robin's hairstyle, it looks to be from the mid to late 60s as well.

Beyond that, it's pretty hilarious. The WF stories from that era are VERY trippy.

I like that he ***** slapped him, or maybe Robin thought it was a fake batman and was testing him to determine the real one.

From this panel one can assume, but we don't actually know that's Robin. It could be someone else. I mean, wouldn't Robin probably know Bats parents are dead????

Curt Swan didn't draw a lot of Batman. Perhaps it's from an issue of Action or Superman with Batman as the guest star?
                Hey! Check out the pictures.

Hmmm.....Looks like Ol' Brucie's been hitting the Schnapps pretty hard again, and Robin was trying to start an intervention.

This is the explanation I found from another site for Rainbow Batman-
“After Dick (Robin) Grayson saves a little girl from an onrushing car — injuring his arm in the process — his daring rescue is reported in all of Gotham City’s media. Soon after, Batman is seen in public wearing a strange assortment of gaudily colored costumes. By the story’s end, it’s explained to the reader that Batman’s motive for his new wardrobe was merely to distract people from noticing that Robin had also sustained the same injury, thereby saving his secret identity!”

The story behind the original version of this panel. It's just as kooky as the fake!
