I know a lot people are bored of the No Flights rule ( I'm on the Fence with the No tights, I understand why but it might be about time to start at least going this route. ). Nontheless I really like the show and have since I caught my first episode. I have noticed his use of his "abilities " has been toned down a bit in recent seasons. The other thing I hear all the time is how bored people got with the whole Clark/ Lana back and forth . It was good that she left as a regular. 7 seasons of that was dragging the show down. Too bad about the Bat Embargo . I think Bruce Wayne ( Not as Batman ) would work as at least a cameo , Maybe show him meeting with Tess Mercer or something. Eh what do I know. They are having some of the best episodes to date. They must be doing something right. In The " Real World " Vampires Do Not Sparkle. They Burn In the Sun !

If he's not allowed to fly they should have him jump more. I mean what happened to being able to leap tall buildings in a single bound? Getting tired of the whole speed thing.Comment

Awesome episode and I'm glad Chloe got her memory of Clark's secret back. No Lois, Ollie or Jimmy this episode, though.
Lana most likely won't be in too many episodes. She's not in the main credits (pictured) anymore. Seemed like a lot of doom & gloom foreshadowing this episode. Should be a helluva good ride to the season finale.

Kreuk had five episodes left in her contract, because she took 5 off last season to make a movie. So we've got three more left with her, then she should be gone for good.
There's conflicting reports online as to the future of the show. A few weeks back, rumors were circulating that Welling was close to signing for season 9 (this season is his last on his current contract). But now word is that the head of the CW told the producers to treat this season as the last and write accordingly.
If they can't go into a Superman series proper, I'd like to see it end with a bang while they are on top. Imagine a 2-hour finale with the return of Lex, Doomsday, Brainiac (maybe), the Legion, all of the Justice League, and at last...at least a fleeting glimpse of Superman. That would be pretty sweet.

I hope it's not ending although I am aware it can't go on forever. Who'd have thought a show could still be this good with only 2 of the original cast members left? To be honest I wasn't crazy about the premise of this show when I first read about it. I'm probably one of the few who was really disappointed in the "Superman: The Movie" continuity: Star-shaped spaceship? Ice planet Krypton? Jor-El with white hair? no Superboy????... but I still loved it nonetheless. I feel the same way about Smallville. Even though it's very unlike the comics continuity; it's still one of my favorite, if not the favorite, TV shows.
Whether this is the last season or not; I do hope they don't end it without at least some glimpse of Clark taking off in the Suit. They owe us that much.

In agreement here. I really liked the episode. Thought the reference to Braniac 5 was cool. Definitely counting down the episodes with Lana that remain. It was like that when I got here.Comment

for the last 3 years i only watched this for the Babes and the guest heroes. they are milking all of superman's universe but not having him be Superman. that is just stupid. i actually hope this is the last year, as i can't really take it anymore. but the Legion ROCKED! it wasn't my legion but geoff did us proud, for a smallville legion."Hang on Lady... We go for a RIDE!" - Shorty to Willie Scott.Best movie line from Indiana Jones & the Temple Of DoomComment
