And if not liking all the unnecessary crosovers, events and random "stroke-my-ego-because-I-am-the-greatest-writer-ever-and-you-should-take-what-I-give-you-and-like-it" changes makes me an old fart...

You wanna see Dick as Batman? Go find the Prodigal TPB. Wanna read a good story about Batman and Talia's son, go find the "Son of the Demon" OGN.

I won't give DC money to retread past storylines veiled in stream-of-consciousness gobbledy-gook.

Damian's not that Bad of a Character,.. & is an interesting Read in how He is written, where he came from & his Relationship to Batman.


... Besides,.. He's a prime exzample for us all to "Suit up for Battle" .

BTW.. I agree with the Dick in the the Batsuit again :sigh: ... we already saw that,.. & if I recall,.. he didn't really like it , nore did a great job at it.

Same idea but different timeline/reality I think...both spring out of "Son of the Demon",though...probably something to do with Hypertime! (Remember that?! )

Most of the character ideas from KC have come to the main DCU. The female Judo Master, Red Robin, GL has used the KC armor, Northwind looks like Hawkgod, Atom Smasher, Gog and Magog.

I always liked Kingdom Come better when it was a stand-alone future Elseworlds kinda thing...don't know WHY DC feels the need to constantly rehash it....almost like they can't stop themselves from beating that dead horse.

Agreed. I liked that Alex Ross "SUPERMAN/Kingdom Come" one shot recently. The future Superman is desperate, to not see His bleak future come to pass.
