I wonder if Jerry Ordway is going to be the new writer on JSA? In the March solicitation for JSA #25, Ordway is listed as co-writer with Geoff Johns. Since Johns is leaving with #26 I wonder if Ordway is getting his feet wet with #25? If so, I think that'd be a natural fit....1) I loved his "Power of Shazam!" 2) He's been doing some artwork in JSA 3) I think he's an underated writer/artist (along with Dan Jurgens who DC has the good sense to put on Booster Gold as writer/artist).

^^^ Hmmm, maybe you have something there. Hope it leads to a return of the real Captain Marvel and the wizard Shazam. Its a shame what's happened to those characters under the control of Winick.

^ They might be headed in that direction....in James Robinson's upcoming "Justice League", Captain Marvel Jr. is a member of the team and Robinson insisted that he be in his old blue costume.

I don't understand the need for this constant advancing of the characters...such as Captain Marvel becoming "Shazam!" and CM Jr. becoming Captain Marvel. Stoopid! Just leave 'em the f' alone! Oh yeah and STOP please with the constant Mary Marvel turning bada$$...they did it in "Countdown", again in "Final Crisis" and coming up again in "JSA". Enough already...sheesh!

Mary Marvel's character was seriously Destroyed imo... It's a Shame.
