Trailer for new Punisher movie

I was flipping through the channels when I caught a glimpse of it. Think FX had it. Looks okay. Just seems like any other action movie that might be coming out.

I made some props for it, it sounds like it could be better than the first one in terms of being like the Punisher. I didn't get to visit the set but just seeing the notes from the art director, this one has a neat feel.

Although, I worked with the same person on a TV show recently and she mentioned she was finally working on something "decent" which made me wonder...

really they've tried twice it was bad both times I can't see 3rd time as a charm. Move on try a different character

The problem I got from the trailer is that it seems like The Punisher in name alone. There's really no way to tell what it is.

I agree 100%...Marvel took this anti-hero and tried to turn him into a full-fledged hero by cramming him down your throat over the last 20 years with countless series and mini-series.

Similar to what they've done with Wolverine...but Wolverine is closer to the super-hero model than the Punisher, who's just a guy with guns in a skull-emblazoned jumpsuit out for revenge against the criminal world.

I think they're beating a dead horse with yet another Punsiher flick....

The problem with a Punisher movie is Hollywood pumps these types of movies every year....There is nothing new in this genre..... Angry guy seeks revenge on the underworld..oh that's so original in 2008. Mind you I like Ray Stevenson just don't know if this is just the one Marvel character that's just past it's expiration date.

Honestly the Punisher would have worked more making a cameo in Daredevil or Spiderman movies

Good point. In a Marvel comic the Punisher was weird and different 'cos he was essentially a bad guy who just shot people. That was different from the gooder than good, heroic heroes.

But an angry guy with a gun in a MOVIE....?
