    Superman/Shazam clones

    Strange request here.

I'm trying to compile a list of characters from various companies and publishers who are basically Superman and SHazam rip-offs. I guess rip-off is too strong a word, more like inspired. I'm considering a theme of custom figures over the next several months featuring these guys. I'm looking for some assistance. I tend to gravitate towards uber-powerful beings wearing capes. I guess this is my comic fetish of sorts.

    So far I have:

    Mighty Man from Freak Force
    Titan from Dark Horse
    Prime from Malibu
    Majestic
    SUpreme

What others am I missing? Maybe I've got them all. Please help. I've already considered Thor, but he doesn't interest me in the least.

    Scott
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Marvelman aka Miracleman originally published in the UK in the fifties later revived by Eclipse Comics in the 80s. He changed into MM by saying KIMOTA (atomik reversed), just one of the similarites to Capt Marvel.

          Classic Marvelman

Basically any character that changed from a teen or weakling to a hero is a Captain Marvel clone. Thor, Hulk, Captain Mar-vell after he was bonded to Rick Jones, and I'm sure a few more.

Ted Holton Super Green Beret Doesn't wear a cape but he's got that "little kid becomes an adult superhero" thing going on aaaaaand his comics are pretty racist to boot.

As for Superman, Gladiator (from that alien race in X-Men) from Marvel is a direct Superman clone. Hyperion of the Squadron Supreme is another.
