    >Thank God I'm a DC guy.

....where Superboy punches out reality. Yeah, MUCH better than Iceman in a Do-rag.

Well.... okay.... maybe it IS, but..... um....

A do-rag? REALLY? Howcome it doesn't ice over when he changes? Does that mean he's actually nekkid in ice mode? If he keeps it in his pocket howcome it doesn't freeze when he takes it out? And how does he reach his pockets....?

Wow, that just SCREAMS "Poochie" to me.

I LOVED that cartoon. The Xmen and Cap were on it and the Goblin story was my fave. I still liked the Batman and Superfriends more but I loved this show too.

Thank God I'm a DC guy.

That's from Marvel's "Ultimate" line.....an updated universe for the modern readers...not old-timers like us.

I was an avid reader of Ultimates (the Avengers of the Ultimate Marvel Universe) during the Millar and Hitch runs but nothing else has floated my boat as far as the Ultimate U goes.....

Spiderman and his amazing friends is ok for it's time and the style sunbow used was the standard for the early 80's thanks to them haveing some of the premier properties. it's better than the stuff from the 70's but is surpassed by the Super powers version of superfrineds for the tecnhical animation (but that is 3 years later). It suffers from alot of recycle shots especially the costume change and comman center bit but then how many times did we see the he-man transformation recycled per episode. of course so did sunbow's hulk show

Folks might want to check out Ultimate Spiderman!

Originally on the show, I think they were going to have Johnny Storm, but decided to change the gender and create Firestar.

the 1981 solo spiderman series offend gets over looked. strange that nether Mary Jane Watson or Gwen Stacy appeared on the show, betty brant was his love interest.
That may be because the show was created to freshen the package of the 67 series in syndication. I remember in the early 80s never knowing if I'd get a new Spidey, or one of the 60s episodes I'd seen 10 times already. I prefer the voice actor doing Spidey on the solo toon. I really like that series as a whole. Overall it's less campy and a truer to the comics overall. For instance the Green Goblin episode uses the same plot of the Spidey and Amazing Friends pilot, but it doesn't involve turning everyone into Goblins, which is more a Saturday-morning toon thing you'd see on Super Friends.
