Galaxy Quest comic

Anybody else pick this up?

I wanted to like this series but the first issue seemed a waste,and the second only slightly better. I'm tempted to get the third issue in the kind of like looking for carnage when driving by an accident site sense.
Just wondering if anyone else has read it yet, or if they have any insider info about where the book is going?

Yep, its sort of a sequel to the movie....sort of.

It's a comic, based on a movie, that was a parody of a series that's pretty much become a cliche.... That's be a tough one to write, since you've got SO MUCH baggage to deal with right off the bat.
