I gotta say I'm impressed with this series. I'd read the trades from the library and picked up issue 50 a few days ago. I'll tell you what I think the best part of this book is. I love the way you read what each one is actually thinking. Sure, there's a lot of word blocks and bubbles, but this insight into their minds and thought process regarding how they feel about eachother is a unique and captivating innovation. I don't know if Loeb came up with this, but it's refreshing to actually learn what's going on in the mind and paying less attention to what comes out of the mouth.
THis series apparently has not lost it's sense of fun either. It doesn't take itself too seriously and concentrates on a good story, though the story is designed for trades.
Overall, I'm really enjoying the dichotomy betweent hese two characters and will be picking up this title monthy from here on out. After so many years out of comics, this book has grabbed my attention. I now am picking up two titles montly with Justice League being the other. Anyone have ideas for a third?
