    Heroes Season 3

What's people's impressions so far? Is the show back on track? Is it moving at the right pace?

It does seem to have a renewed intensity so far, two episodes in.
I saw where the season premiere didn't get the ratings of last year's though.

I had enough of Skyler last season but I am enjoying Daphne the speedster.

I've watched every TV episode so far, and I'd say it's back on track. The original technique using rapid pacing for most of the immediate plot threads with the slow build on newer ones introduced is definitely back in full swing. While season 2 definitely sucked, to be fair, even some of the actors (milo, in particular) were quoted as saying the writer's strike forced the producers to use everything they had filmed, including incomplete arcs which added to the loss of direction. Pacing, except for the Hiro's adventures in Japan (which was an admitted misstep length and tone-wise), would have improved had all the original developments occurred as anticipated.

Not feeling the love yet. I'll need to see a few more episodes. I'm kind of getting tired of this whole "realistic" BS on TV and in movies. I want my sci fi/fantasy/superheroes UNREALISTIC as they were meant to be. If I wanted to watch CSI or LOST, I'd watch them. Fantasy is for releasing one's mind of the real world, an escape...I don't see much of that anymore and it really bums me out.

Right on track...LOVE it!! Despite being an unrepentant X-Men rip-off...the writing is excellent, so I can forgive them. One of My favorite Shows....right up there with "24"!

I like it so far. I missed season 2 entirely which I guess isn't a bad thing based on what you all are saying.

We'll see as the season progresses but first 3 episodes so far have been really good.

I've watched every show from the begining. IMHO they can never match season one. Season two just didn't do it for me. The start of season three is pretty much lack luster. Some of it's working, but in the first 2 episodes they really threw in too much stuff. Killing people off and then bringing them back from the dead is cool, but not when they OVERUSE that ploy(pitiful writing). Ripping off the FLY is not the way to go either. The other thing that bothers me is this "texting" crap to vote on-line for your favorite new HERO. That REALLY cheapens the show.
