Adam is a really nice guy I met him 25 years ago at a toy con (when his career was dead) and he was never bitter or mean. I was so pleased when BAS used him for the voice of the Grey Ghost. and the way he can poke fun at himself is marvelous. Many more Adam
My wife brought home a pamphlet from the pharmacy on new medication for enlarged prostate disorder, only because their spokesperson is non-other-than Adam West! He does indeed look great at 80. I met Adam once and he was super cool to me and the wife, he even "kind of" hit on her with his smooth voice, which Cindy described is "like buttah!"
Happy B-day to my boyhood hero, and no doubt the #1 reason many of us come to this forum!
Wow! He does look great for 80! I hope he had a Batastic birthday!

Batman ran from early 1966 to mid 1968, so he was almost 40 when it ended. He did play Batman in 1979 on those "Legends of the Super Heroes" specials, so he was 50 when those aired. And of course he supplied Batman's voice on the 70s Filmation toon, and the last two seasons of Super Friends/Super Powers (1985-86).

That's what I was referring to. I find that interesting.
Never pictured him as "50" there.
