Anyone catch it?
SEMI-SPOILERS
It shows promise, which I didn't really think it would after losing Rosenbaum as Lex. Jettisoning Lana was THE move they should have made long ago. Positioning Clark to actually start ACTING like Superman on a full-time basis was also a great move. More Green Arrow is always good, and even though Aqua-Bro and the Black Racoon...er...Canary weren't much more than hostages, it was good to see them too.
It think the best part was the creators more or less admitting that last season was pretty weak overall, and having a new direction for the show rather than just more of the "Young and the Capeless".
Seeing a non-Superman, non-glasses-wearing-Clark at the Daily Planet will be weird, but I know that even if they wanted to do so, BIG WB wouldn't let them mow into their feature film yard too much.
Still not sure how a paramedic becomes Doomsday, but I'll reserve judgement. Geoff Johns said it works, so that means something. Looking forward to his Legion episode.
Oh and to you guys who hate the show, I know, Smallville sucks. Even I admit it gets tedious at times, but overall, it's a better distraction that most televison, even at it's worst.
