I don't think Clooney would have been the best, but physically, he could have pulled it off. Moreso than Keaton. He is a decent actor when he's not being "George Clooney, movie star". In B&R, he was "movie star as Batman".

The entire cast of the Spiderman movies with the exception of Toby McGuire, Aunt May, Uncle Ben, Doc Ock, Sandman and JJJ. What's her name that played MJ Watson. The woman is supposed to be beautfiul, I mean drop dead gorgeous. Aside from that, she whined and was just overall unbearable to watch. And Spidey's organic web shooters. Again, changing things because they feel they have to or something.

So I guess all you didn't like in the Spider movies were Venom and Green Goblin?

I agree completely. Of all the guys who played The Batman, at least Clooney looked the best in the role. He was the best-looking guy, with the squarest chin, and the straightest mouth (no sissy puckering). So I thought he looked best in the Bat-cowl.

But he certainly would not have been my first choice to play Bruce / Batman.

I wonder what he would have looked like in a more traditional looking bat-suit.

It's a just a pity that the script and his performance were both so poor. He had this bizzare tick when he delivered his lines that I absolutely hated: It was this strange head shake from side to side that just drove me nuts. It looked particularly bad when he was wearing the Bat cowl.

Someone in his camp must have told him about that, because he has since stopped doing it in his subsequent roles.

No one??? No other Actor in the World was available?? I couldn't disgree more!! One reason Burton picked Keaton as Batman is because He worked with Him on Beetlejuice. But there was another Actor in Beetlejuice that, "at the time"...would have made an excellent Batman...Alec Baldwin!

I thought James Franco did great as Harry. Sure, Harry had never been visualized as a pretty boy before, but then again, MJ had never been less than drop-dead gorgeous, and Dunst, while not unattractive, isn't the "jackpot" for sure..

And how can anyone have that strange Ditko hairstyle that Norman and Harry have in the comics. What is that, corn rows? Corn Rows in 1966? HUH?!?
