Haven't read Kingdom Come. I saw it on the shelf yesterday when I bought New Frontier. I'm guessing it is another one I should pick up? (I've been out of the loop, but I want to catch up.)
Kingdom Come is a good read. When it came out, I really loved it. I really wish Mark Waid and Alex Ross had just left the story alone, with no sequels, but the original is still well done and the artwork is Ross at his peak, IMHO. Definitely worth getting the TPB at the very least.

I really like the dvd. One of DC's best. But I'm not a fan of the comic series itself. The story is really good, I'm not a fan of that type of artwork. It's really too "loose" and looks hurried and unfinished. To me it needed an inker that had "his" own style to tighten it up quite abit. The series does have it's own style, and if you like it, well more power to you. I just don't care for it myself.

Got the DVD as sson as I saw it in WalMart. Love it. But not nearly enough Batman for my liking.

I've not read any of the comics as yet.

I've just about worn out my copy of the DVD, I love it that much, but the comic is even better.

If you liked the movie, do yourself a favor and pick up the 2 volumes of the Trade Paperback (it's pretty easy to find and Amazon has both volumes for cheap. Absolute New Frontier seems to be pretty hard to find and is about $100 more than the retail price when I have found it).

Awesome stuff and more Batman, to boot.

^^Also grab the Justice League NF special. One story is the how Bats and Supes worked out the differences they had.

Does anyone know if DC is going to do another print run on the Absolute Edition. I have been looking for a copy and it appears to be out of print. The book retailed for around $75 when released and now, the cheapest I can find is used at $140 and it just goes through the roof from there.

Amazon.com: Used and New: Absolute DC: The New Frontier
BarnesNoble.com - Used Book Search Results - Absolute DC: The New Frontier -- Darwyn Cooke - Hardcover - Slipcase

The sellers that offer it for $75 are out of stock and those that have it...well, some of them are asking as much as $325.
