    Damien Helstrom

Possibly Marvel's most often off model character EVER! The Son of Satan:

Someone did one a while back that was amazing; and having snagged the Essentials: Marvel Horror book, I was inspired.

'Course, everyone needs that first Supercity intro:

Tragicly I couldn't work Kromedome into this one....

Nice take on a great character. I used to collect Defenders back in the day! God, I am old!

Anyway, not that I am an expert in the Satanic religion. But the Pentagram they used on "DAIMON HELLSTROM" in the comics has the star pointing down with one point that points to hell, that is their motto.
Right now, your custom has a Pagan Pentagram on his chest.

I sent a pentagram to Dave MC. I believe he has it on the front of the custom logos page. All looks wonderful except that minor thing, but who cares?

Legend has it that this was the first custom that Dr. Mego made when he was little. It triggered something later on and of course we all know the legend of Dr. Mego.

Right now, your custom has a Pagan Pentagram on his chest.

That's part of what I meant by the off model comment: Damien was drawn different every issue; sometims from page to page in the SAME issue! Originally the lead point was up, and when the Darksoul would take control it'd be point down. Sometimes it'd look like it was kinda sideways....

I did it point up 'cos he's supposed to be a good guy. (According to western theological thought, a pentagram point up is used for protection, point down for summoning.)

The trident was worse for that.... but I did the original asymmetrical one. Just 'cos you never see anyone swinging an asymmetrical trident.

When I made my Son of Satan in 1976 I used the blonde guy from SWAT
because he had big biceps and blonde hair!

When my mom saw me drawing the symbol of baphomet on his chest,
she decided that megos had to go. If she knew what I would do 25
years later - she may have let me keep them.
