Nicolson Joker and DeVito Penguin (new sculpts)

As I mentioned earlier, I have been revisiting my Burton 89 customs... so I 3d printed new heads for a couple of my figures.

Those are beautiful figures. If only Mego was still in business in '89.

They both look great - but you really nailed that Devito Penguin! Bat-Tastic!

Nicely done! Liking the texture on Pengy's coat especially!

Is this how far 3d printing has come? Those heads look so clean! Did you have to do much prep on them before painting?

Thanks! Resin 3d printing involves some hazardous chemicals, so it can be a bit of a pain to print, wash, and cure. Getting well supported prints that are consistently successful is a bit of an art. But once you get the final printed result, there really isn't much additional cleanup you need to do.

Thanks, Sprytel! After a bit of research, I think I'd better stick with "wax and clay, the old-fashioned way" just a bit longer! I'm too clumsy these days to deal with hazardous materials.

Hats off to you, though! Very impressive results.
