    Green Lantern Curmudgeon, Salaak

Posted some pics and the process of making him here:
Trying something a little different here by showing a more step by step process as I make a figure. I've wanted to make Salaak, the curmudgeon of the Green Lantern Corps, and I thought he would be a good choice for this, as there's going to be a lot of different aspects to his creation. First thing was to decide on a body,

Been wanting to do him for a long time, but knew I'd have to sculpt the head from scratch (the DC Collectibles head is too small, and that's about it for Salaak out there). Head and hands are from scratch (Apoxy Sculpt). The body is a modified skinny body from CTVT, and the ring and emblem are printed out after some fun in Photoshop.

It is inspiring how much of this you built totally from scratch. The end result looks awesome.

He was more of a challenge than I first thought he'd be, but, somehow, that seems appropriate for Salaak...

Came to compliment your fine customizing work, awesome figure. Mego could use a quad-limb buck in their parts bin as there are plenty such characters like Goro, Spiral, Tar Tarkas, Lashorr, etc.. https://comicvine.gamespot.com/profi...ed-folk/55376/
