One time, I caught a 16-footer off Montauk..had to stick two barrels in him...BRUCE!

Many here know I built the repro GWS Playset using every skill in my toolbox - 3d design, 3d printing, automotive finishing, etc...etc...

I got back into the water.

Took my GWS 3d files and worked with a partner to extensively modify them..basically creating a brand new sculpt.
Another 3d print, however - faaaaar easier on the automotive finish side of things because I used a resin printer..and resin is far more forgiving when it comes to body work.

My airbrush got dusted off for this one...and frankly, wasn't sure I could pull it off...well... I'll let you decide. :-)

    Enjoy!
    Chad

I do not think it is hyperbole to state that this awesome 1:9 scale custom work of art creation is the NEW EXCELLENCE STANDARD within our hobby.

Once again, you’ve raised the bar even higher for the rest of us to meet, and I humbly congratulate you on a creation that is extremely well thought out, extremely well executed, and extremely exciting as a final display.

I sure hope this bad boy will be on display at MEGO MEET ‘22!

Awe, you flatter me brother. We all feed off each other - for me, it all started with James Brady. Watching his casting method...then DaveMC painting...and all the brothers and sisters since.

I am building a display for him - he fits diagonally in a 10gal Aquarium! haha. I chose that because it's considerably cheaper than a real display case.
I need to finish Brody and Hooper...I am so close....
I want to add some elements to the display - like the Amity Island billboard that got vandalized...so many ideas.

I do have a problem. I ran out of space to display my own stuff. Yup. It's frustrating that I can't figure out a dedicated spot that allows for growth. Right now, Bruce is sitting in the aquarium, on a crate next to my chair lol.

(oh, did I mention I am building another one? Yeah. I want one with the side cut off and shows all the pipes and mechanics inside...ohh, and did I say I want to go BIGGER next time...)
