Crikey, that's spiky. I like how you varied the front and back paws.

Love the whole series of these, and you know I can't wait for Mothra and Hedorah.

Thanks, I am mostly focusing on getting the DAM cast done but Queen Mothra and Mechagoji are in various states of completion. Hope to get pics of the Gargantua Bros. tomorrow.

Anguirus looks pretty neat, putting together the creature cast of Destroy all Monsters is a project for the ages, can’t wait to see how you put together King Ghidorah.

He's almost done, I redid the heads lately. Just needs a few more touches.

I’m not sure but did they use the same Godzilla costume from King of the Monsters for this one? It looks the same but a little thinner?

and I think the American version of this movie should had been called, Godzilla’s Revenge not Giagantis the Fire Monster, I mean who doesn’t know that’s another Godzilla. If you didn’t know piece of tidbit info, the American version had narration from Mr. Sulu himself George Takei, oh my!

I think there were issues with the American copyright on the name Godzilla at the time of the movie. Key Luke would have been the narrator since he voiced the main human character.

From what I understand, the American audience saw Godzilla die in the original, so supposedly this movie was going to be called the Volcano Monsters, but got changed to Giagantis the Fire Monster, but it’s still Godzilla, even with the copyright issues with Toho.

Americans must have looked at this and said, hey that’s Godzilla didn’t he die in the last movie?

You are right about Key Luke, George Takei did voice another character.

Toho actually made suits for the two Kaiju and sent them to the US for the studio to shoot its own scenes set in San Francisco but that didn't happen. The suits were tossed or stolen.
