    ReMego Samurai Santa

This story is based on DC Comics Jim Lee's Samurai Santa (Jim Lee's first work in comic books):
    th (4).jpg

Samurai Santa. Story by Phil Clarke. Art by Don Secrease and Jim Lee. Cover by Don Secrease. A holiday-themed parody featuring Phil Clarkes Samurai character from Samurai Funnies (1986). Most significant from an historical perspective as the professional debut of future superstar artist and publisher Jim Lee (working here as an inker)

I am going to break this up into 2 photo sets. The first one is when Sam is feeling in for the store Santa who was fired for being drunk, so Sam is filling in as Santa Claus as kids go on about what toys they want for Christmas.

I treated this like a movie and thought George Takei would have been great for this role so "off with his head" for Star Trek...

This is as far as I plan on going. I may down the road add more of the comic book but this was hard & fun project to do. Plus, it seems I am the only one who is enjoy these Santa photos so no hurry.

Very cool looking Samurai Santa, I think Sulu was still feeling the effects from the Naked Time episode.

This was a fun project. I love the Christmas building I got from Lows after Christmas. They were just store demos to use for the projector lights. I went to two different Lowes as asked if I could have them. I have used them in more ReMego scenes than I should.

The figures were just repurposed extras clearance Mego's with different clothing. Sometimes it good to be a hoarder.
