




In 1989, Vicki Vale seemed like such a progressive heroine. She had a job. She was an award-winning journalist. And she was smart. You could tell because... um... she wore glasses.
In hindsight, sure... she is mostly there just to scream and to be someone pretty for the hero and villain to fight over. But Kim Basinger somehow makes it work despite the underdeveloped role.
Vicki is a Bewitched head with repainted eyes on a Mattel body. The dress, beret, and stockings are homemade. The glasses and camera are 3d printed. (I also decided to kitbash together an Alexander Knox for these photos using items in my parts bin. Ralph Malph makes a positively passable Robert Wuhl.)
This Thanksgiving weekend, I finished the last of my Burton Batman figures. I will be posting Catwoman and Joker in the next few days.
