“I am commanded to go to the land of Mordor,
and therefore I shall go,' said Frodo.
'If there is only one way, then I must take it.
What comes after must come.”

For my second custom figure of Tolkien's works, I unveil to you, Mr. Frodo Baggins
...er, I mean, Mr. Underhill!

One of my favorite and most proud features of Frodo are his hobbit feet! We built Frodo on a 5" child body from Doc Mego, and noticed that the default feet were far too small for some of Frodo's... "foot-age"
With that, we swapped them with a pair of adult male feet from a standard body, repainted them to match the skin tone, then glued craft fur to the tops to give the impression of, quote,
"...natural leathery soles and thick warm brown hair like the stuff on their heads (which is curly)."

Frodo's accessories include the One Ring (a plastic bead I painted gold), his short sword, Sting, and his old pipe (both of which were 3D-printed; also, I unfortunately misplaced his pipe during our photoshoot outside
).

Unfortunately, Sting does not really glow, but I couldn't help not adding a bit of post-production magic to these photos

Frodo's head, like Tom Bombadil's, is 3D-printed, with paints by my lovely girlfriend and I, once again (she's got a better eye and less-shaky hands than I). Frodo's clothes too were hand-sewn by her, and his belt buckle was 3D-printed and painted gold.
We're very much excited to continue creating figures from the works of Tolkien, and would absolutely love any and all feedback! Also, let us know if there are any figures you'd like to see done!
Cheers!
